If for some reason you cant load files--then try the basic load which is:

  1. start
  2. programs
  3. windows explorer
  4. program files
  5. steam
  6. steamapps
  7. Your E-Mail account
  8. day of defeat
  9. dod
  10. There you will find the folder you need for install.
  11. Most of the files are a click and paste type install. These downloads will work on Steam-as they did in reg, dod.
